Holiday Message from Chief and President
Holiday Message from the Chief and President
Dear Members, Board of Directors, Staff, Readers and Supporters:
As we close out 2017 and start 2018 as Chief and President of the Native Council of Nova Scotia I would like to take a moment to wish you a Happy Holidays and thank you all for your contributions to our organization.
Since being re-elected as Chief and President in September, I have been busy getting up to date on the Programs, Services and Current Events at the Native Council.
As your Chief and President, I remain committed to moving the Native Council of Nova Scotia forward; to expand our Employment, Social, Education and Housing programs, to increase our operating capacity, to strengthen our profile and to reconcile our traditional Mi’kmaq identities with modernity.
I will end by wishing you all a Happy Holiday Season. Enjoy visiting with family and friends, and take a moment to reflect on the past year and remember those who are no longer with us. When we work together to go forward to a better future, we make a better future for our children and their children to come.
Going Forward To
A Better Future
Chief and President
